Nowadays, a big part of the people, are taking care of the american elections, because they're very important, simply because America is the most important politic and powerful country of the world. The decisions are taken at the "white house" and the dicisions can have decisive effects all over the world. The americans make these elections each four years, for make better the thigs that they desagree.

I mean, for going to be the president the people have to choose the politic they like more. The first "little elections" were between the one that would be the "first women president" or the one that would be the "first black president" in america's history.
In those elections competed: Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton. It was very interseting because they were even. But at the end, Barack Obama got the position and started another election, longer, harder, and more difficult than the other. He competed agaist the old president; John mcCain. I can't imagine all the effort that Obama has given at these elections, but they have been a good way, because, at this moment, Obama is the President of the United States of America.
